Executive Asst. / HR Generalist / Office Manager
Overview
This Administrative Professional brings over 20 years of experience in professional, office environments. Her roles have often required her to wear multiple hats so she has many years of experience balancing between being an Executive Assistant, Human Resources Generalist, and/or an Office Manager/Operations. She would be happy to work in a role that was solely or a combination of any of those positions.
In her most recent role, she was responsible for two positions- one was setting up vendors and subcontractors, onboarding them, ensuring onboarding documents, and screenings were clear and complete, and the contracts, NDA’s, and any additional paperwork were complete. The other was document management- reviewing contracts, formatting, editing, and ensuring accuracy.
Prior to her most recent role, she created HR for a company and in addition to being the sole HR person, was also responsible for being the Executive Assistant to the Owner/President. She identified gaps in processes and missing policies and procedures, and then created policies and procedures and the employee handbook. She revamped the PTO policy, accruals, and continued building on and developing policies to enhance teamwork and morale. She did some recruiting, created job descriptions, interviewed, and onboarded employees. Handled benefit administration, open enrollment, cobra, etc. In addition to the HR and Executive Assistant responsibilities (being the helper she is) she also helped with some marketing, learning the RFP process, and with company operations.
- Software: Microsoft Suite, task management software (she especially loves Trello), SharePoint, multiple proprietary software, and learns new programs with ease.
- Certified Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)
Personality & What She's Looking For
Our candidate is incredibly professional and friendly. She loves solving problems, being creative, learning and growing, and is an innovative thinker. She believes in building people up, playing on their strengths, and giving them the tools they need to succeed. If someone isn't performing as they should, why? What can be done to fix that and help- as you hired that person for a reason to begin with.
She leads by example, will earn people’s trust and be true to her word, and people know they can go to her for help. She would love her manager to have that same mentality as well as be approachable and make themselves available- she appreciates someone who will come to her with thoughts, ideas, and concerns, and wants her to be part of their working life.
She is looking for one of these roles or a mix between any/all of them: Executive Assistant, HR Generalist, Office Manager, or Operations.
